After the scorching heat of the summer simmers down, New Yorkers’ settle back into the rise and grind of the Manhattan lifestyle. Commuters are grabbing their $5 coffees in the crisp air on their way to work, Wall streeters with their monotone trench coats, and the ladies of Manhattan bring out their best in winter attire.
Fall, one of my favorite times of the year. A time to pull on your favorite chunky sweaters and adorn yourself with a cashmere throw. The tourist scene starts to thin and pumpkin spiced lattes are a favorite among social circles. New Yorker’s are grabbing their spots at the best places to dine around town and events popping up around every corner.
One of my favorite places to dine is part of the abcV serving a cultural shift and catering to a plant-based audience with a taste that lingers with your soul long after you’ve left. Skip the apps you’re better off calling in for a reservation with this Jean- Georges masterpiece.
In New York, you’ll never fall short on things to do in and around the city. There are countless museums; The Metropolitan Museum, MoMA, The American Museum Of Natural History, art galleries; Hauser & Wirth New York , Gagosian Gallery and Gladstone Gallery , shopping on 5th avenue and cultural activities to get involved in. I always enjoy taking a blissful walk through Central Park with a matcha latte and going to feed the swans.
Catch brunch at Jack’s Wife Frieda, Grab a coffee at Ground support in Soho and take a walk along the Hudson River at sunset for rays of light reflecting against some of the world’s leading architecture while making your way to Santiago Calatravas’ infamous Oculus. The WTC refurbished subway station.
There’s always something to do here so put on your best coat and get walking.
